Ministry of Finance collects 123.2 million lei from selling state securities

Moldova’s Ministry of Finance collected 123.2 million lei ($9.7 million) in the state budget from selling state securities to commercial banks on last Tuesday. The banks’ demand on state securities constituted 243 million lei ($19.1 million) with an initial ministry’s offer of 112 million lei. A group of sixth form students are cramming a career in finance into a week.The 16 boys and girls from Victoria College and JCG are being taken on a journey of a typical working life cycle.The Life in Finance programme – organised by Jersey Finance – aims to introduce them to the industry, and get them thinking how promotion, marriage and children affect their climb up the coporate ladder.
